About Kosha

Care for every layer of you.

Kosha is a wellness network that connects people with reviewed practitioners and makes it simple to book, pay for, and keep up with the care that helps them feel well.

Why “Kosha”?

In Sanskrit, kosha(कोश) means “sheath” or “layer,” and also “treasury,” a place where something precious is kept.

In the Taittiriya Upanishad, one of the oldest texts of yoga philosophy, a person is described as five koshas, each subtler than the last: the physical body (annamaya), breath and life-force (prāṇamaya), the mind and emotions (manomaya), wisdom and intuition (vijñānamaya), and at the centre, joy (ānandamaya). True wellbeing means caring for every layer, not just one.

That's why Kosha brings together practitioners for each of them. Wherever you begin, you're tending the whole of you: stillness in motion.
